Blinds

What types of blinds do you supply and install?

We supply and install made-to-measure roller blinds, blackout blinds, Venetian blinds (40+ colours), vertical blinds, vision/day & night blinds, Perfect Fit blinds, Allusion blinds and motorised blinds. All blinds are custom made to suit your window size, room type and style.

Which blinds are best for privacy without losing natural light?

Voile roller blinds and light-filtering roller blinds are popular choices for maintaining privacy while allowing natural daylight into your home. Venetian blinds and shutters also offer excellent adjustable light control. We also supply vision (day & night) blinds for flexible privacy options. We’ll recommend the best solution based on your room and window position.

What are the best blinds for bedrooms?

Blackout roller blinds are one of the most popular choices for bedrooms as they help block external light and improve sleep quality. We also supply blackout curtains for added insulation and light control.

For maximum darkness, our blackout nightshades and blind screen systems provide superior blackout performance. These can be installed on their own or fitted behind roller blinds or shutters to create an enhanced blackout solution — ideal for shift workers, nurseries or anyone sensitive to light.

What blinds are best for bathrooms and kitchens?

For high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens, we recommend blinds made from moisture-resistant materials such as PVC or aluminium. We’ll advise the best finish based on heat, humidity and everyday use.

Are your blinds child-safe and pet-friendly?

Yes. We supply child-safe and pet-friendly blind systems designed to reduce or eliminate cords for improved safety in family homes. Popular options include smart-lift systems, motorised blinds, and Allusion blinds, which are ideal for patio doors and reduce the need for loose operating cords.

Do you manufacture any blinds in-house?

Yes. Our bespoke roller blinds and Allusion blinds are manufactured in-house, allowing us to maintain high quality standards and competitive lead times.

Can blinds be motorised?

Yes. Many of our blinds, including roller blinds, can be motorised and operated by remote control.

Do you supply Somfy or Louvolite motorised blinds?

Yes. We supply trusted motorised systems from Somfy and Louvolite.

Are motorised blinds worth it?

Motorised blinds are ideal for convenience, child safety, large windows and hard-to-reach areas. They also add a modern, smart-home feel.

Are vertical or Allusion blinds good for patio doors and large windows?

Yes. Vertical blinds and Allusion blinds are ideal for patio doors and wide openings, offering flexible light control with easy access.

What are Perfect Fit blinds?

Perfect Fit blinds are a made-to-measure system that fits neatly within the window frame for a clean, streamlined finish. Installation requirements depend on the window type, which we confirm during your measure and quote.

Which blinds are best for keeping warmth in?

Thermal blinds and thermal-lined curtains are ideal for improving insulation and reducing heat loss through windows. Options such as thermal roller blinds, cellular (honeycomb) blinds and blackout blinds with thermal backing help retain warmth during colder months.

We can recommend the most energy-efficient blinds or curtains for your home, helping improve comfort and reduce heating costs.

Shutters

What are the benefits of window shutters?

Shutters provide excellent privacy, adjustable light control and insulation. They offer a timeless, premium finish that suits both modern and traditional homes.

How long do shutters take to install?

Shutters typically have a longer lead time than blinds due to manufacturing and shipping. Installation is usually completed within approximately 8–12 weeks from order.

What warranty do you offer on shutters?

We offer a 7-year warranty on our shutters for added peace of mind.

Are shutters better than blinds?

Shutters offer a more permanent, architectural finish and excellent durability, while blinds provide flexibility and a wider range of fabric styles. We can advise which is best based on your home and budget.

Curtains

Do you offer handmade, made-to-measure curtains?

Yes. We supply handmade curtains tailored to your exact window measurements.

What curtain fabrics and brands do you use?

We supply premium curtain fabrics, including Prestigious Textiles, with a wide range of colours, patterns and bold statement designs.

Can you help me choose the right fabric and style?

Yes. We provide expert advice on fabrics, linings, finishes and styles to suit your interior design and budget.
